Three formats, one product: when to skip the presenter

Presenter video, product-only video and static ads come out of the same pipeline. Which one a placement actually wants, and what each one costs to make.

Hazevio is often described as a presenter-ad generator, and the presenter is one of its strengths. It is not the whole story. One product goes in and three formats come out, and for a lot of placements the right answer has nobody in it.

Presenter video

A vertical clip with an original on-camera presenter, cast from your brand profile and holding your actual product. It earns its place in feeds where a face stops the thumb: TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn. It is also the format with the most stages, because a presenter has to be cast and composited before anything moves.

Product-only video

Flat-lay and in-hand clips with the product filling the frame. On listing pages, in muted feeds and on catalogue tiles a talking head loses to the finish and texture of the thing itself, and a slow push-in in real light does the selling. Product-only skips the casting stage entirely, and with it the casting cost.

Static ads

The same angles rendered as photographs and laid out for eleven placements: Meta feed and story, TikTok, a Pinterest pin, an Etsy listing image, four Google Display sizes and an email hero. Nothing is baked into the picture, so every word stays editable, and the stills are made from your own product photo rather than a look-alike.

Choosing

Ask what the placement rewards. A discovery feed rewards a person; a listing page rewards the product; a display slot rewards a still with a clean headline. Most sellers end up wanting all three for the same product, which is the point of making them from one pipeline: the blueprint, the composite and the disclosure are shared, and only the stages a format needs are run and billed.
