Terms of Service

Hazevio generates vertical video ads featuring an AI presenter, and publishes them to social accounts you connect. Using it means agreeing to what follows.

What the service does

You supply a product. Hazevio studies the format of what is performing in your niche, casts an original presenter, renders a vertical video, and — where you have connected an account — publishes it. The presenter is generated. It is not a real person, and it is not built from one.

The rules about AI presenters

These are conditions of use rather than preferences, because breaking them creates real liability for you and for us.

• Every ad carries a disclosure. The caption states that the presenter is AI-generated, and the system refuses to publish a caption that does not. Removing that disclosure after the fact, on any platform, is a breach of these terms.
• No claims of personal experience. A generated presenter has never used your product. The script is written to describe and demonstrate rather than testify, and you must not edit it into a first-person endorsement. A synthetic presenter posing as a satisfied customer can be treated as a fake testimonial under the FTC Endorsement Guides and the 2024 Rule on Consumer Reviews and Testimonials.
• No real person's likeness. Do not attempt to make a presenter resemble a specific individual, and do not supply reference images of one. The system is built to refuse this and you must not work around it.

What you are responsible for

• The product claims. We generate a script from what you tell us. Whether those claims are true, substantiated and lawful where you advertise is yours to answer for.
• Rights in what you upload. Product images, brand assets and any other material must be yours to use.
• The accounts you connect. You must be entitled to publish to them, and you remain bound by each platform's own terms. If a platform suspends an account over something published through Hazevio, that is between you and them.
• Reviewing before it goes out. The pipeline pauses for you to approve the cast, and shows costs before spending. Approving is your decision.

What we are responsible for

Running the service with reasonable care, enforcing the disclosure rule in code rather than by request, and being straight with you about what it does. That is the extent of it.

Generative models are not deterministic. A render can come back wrong, a platform can reject a post for reasons neither of us controls, and a provider can change its rules without notice. We do not guarantee that any particular ad will be produced, published, approved, or that it will perform.

Costs

Generating images and video costs money at the providers behind them. Each paid stage states its estimated cost before it runs and does not proceed without an explicit instruction. Estimates are exactly that — the provider's own charge governs, and prices change.

Acceptable use

You may not use Hazevio to:

• advertise anything unlawful where it will be seen;
• impersonate a person, brand or organisation;
• produce content that is deceptive about who is speaking or what they have experienced;
• generate sexual content, content involving minors, or content that harasses or degrades;
• make medical, financial or legal claims you cannot substantiate;
• evade a platform's rules, rate limits or review process.

We can suspend an account that does any of these, and will do so without waiting for a platform to act first.

Your content, and ours

What you upload stays yours. The videos generated for you are yours to use commercially. We keep only the licence needed to run the service — to store, process and publish your material where you have asked us to — and nothing broader. We do not use your products or brand in our own marketing without asking you first.

Availability

Hazevio is not open to general signup and is offered without a service level commitment. It depends on third-party providers, and when one is unavailable so is the part of the service that uses it.

Ending it

You can stop at any time, disconnect your accounts, and ask us to delete your data. We can end an account for a breach of these terms, or discontinue the service — with notice where we reasonably can. Anything already published stays published; it belongs to your platform account and only you can remove it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We will post changes here. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell account holders before it takes effect.
